PDBC Blue

PDBC Blue is a mixed dragon boat crew for experienced paddlers of all ages. This program is ideal for experienced paddlers who can only practice once a week. PDBC Blue will begin their season in mid-April with 1 indoor pool session and 2 indoor paddle (PERG) sessions.

All PDBC Blue athletes will participate in the following programming:

  • Pool Paddling @ Afterburn Fitness Centre
  • PERG Paddling @ Alkame Paddle Zone
  • Dragon Boat Practices @ Frenchman’s Bay Marina
  • Participation in 3 regattas

Winter:

Indoor Perg sessions @ Paddle Zone

  • Sunday April 13th, 2025 and April 27th, 2025
  • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Sunday Pool Paddling @ Afterburn Fitness Centre

  • Sunday May 4th, 2025
  • 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Summer:

Dragon Boat Practices @ Frenchman’s Bay Marina

  • May 8th, 2025 - August 14th, 2025
  • Thursday evenings (6:30 - 8:30 pm)

Regattas

  • Pickering Dragon Boat Festival - May 31st, 2025
  • Hamilton Dragon Boat Festival - July 5th, 2025
  • Hope Floats Dragon Boat Festival - August 10th, 2025

Seasonal Membership: $500.00
