Pickering Dragon Boat Challenge

Sport Mixed

  • Must be DBC members
  • Must bring DBC issued ID for every single sport race for roster checks
  • Must be at an equal number of paddlers of each gender
  • Max roster of 30 including drummer and steer

Sport Open

  • Must be DBC members
  • Must bring DBC issued ID for every single sport race for roster checks
  • Max roster of 30 including drummer and steer

Sport Women

  • Must be an all female crew, including the steersperson
  • Must be DBC members
  • Must bring DBC issued ID for every single sport race for roster checks
  • Max roster of 30 including drummer and steer

Sport Mixed/Open/Women Crews from outside of Canada

  • Must bring government issued ID for every single sport race for roster checks
  • Max roster of 30 including drummer and steer

University Mixed

  • Must be an equal number of paddlers of each gender. All paddlers and at least one of either the steersperson or drummer must be registered undergraduate and graduate students (for fall and/or winter terms of the academic year – i.e. summer of 2011 individual must be registered for fall and/or winter terms of the 2010-2011 academic year) of the academic institution that the crew is representing.

Recreation Mixed

  • No age restrictions. Must have at least ten (10) female paddlers

Recreation Women

  • Women: No age restrictions. All paddlers and drummer must be female

Youth Championships

  • By entering as a Junior Club, the crew will follow IDBF rules
  • Must be an equal number of paddlers of each gender. All paddlers and the drummer must be 17 or younger on June1st in a given year. Up to two (2) paddlers may be aged over 17 but under 19 on June 1st in a given year.

Community Division

  • No age restrictions. Must have at least ten (10) female paddlers
